Kayla Dungee is the Editorial & Communications Manager at the Center for News, Technology & Innovation. Before joining CNTI, she led communications and design efforts at Untold, a global non-profit embracing and equipping individuals living with HIV/AIDS through holistic programming. She developed an affinity for working at the intersection of technology and journalism during her many years working for Boston University’s experiential learning lab, BU Spark. Her work experience spans nonprofit and academia, and her writing portfolio reflects an even deeper range  — from investigative reporting and HIV/AIDS advocacy to technology, entertainment and Black and Latinx cultural storytelling.

Kayla holds an M.S. in Journalism from Boston University and a B.A. in Journalism from Georgia State University. When she’s not writing, she loves crafting, kickboxing and traveling.
