Jessica Reese is a Research Intern at the Center for News, Technology & Innovation. She holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Southern Mississippi and a M.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park where she is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Science. Her research sits at the intersection of American politics and media, with concentrations in political ideology, voting behavior, black political behavior, black conservatism and news media literacy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before joining CNTI, Jessica conducted experimental research both as a research assistant at the University of Maryland and as the principal investigator through UMD\u2019s Department of Government and Politics Experimental Research and UCLA\u2019s Race, Ethnicity, Politics, and Society (REPS) Omnibus Lab.\u00a0 Jessica Reese is a Research Intern at the Center for News, Technology & Innovation. Jessica\u2019s work also extends into interdisciplinary spaces. She co-authored a piece featured in UMD\u2019s David C.
